JULIA A. HORTON, age 78, of Bel Air, died in Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center on June 17, 2004. Born in Baltimore, grew up in Edgemere, she was the daughter of the late George Mordecai, Sr. and Julia Ann Ruth Bearman, and the wife of the late James 1. Horton, Sr.

Mrs. Horton is survived by two sons, James T. Horton, Jr. of Whiteford; Mark Alan Horton and his wife, Susan of Bel Air; one daughter, Pamela Kim Ebert and her husband William of Joppa; one brother, George M. Bearman, Jr. of Joppa; six grandchildren, James 1. Horton, III of Baltimore; Melanie M. Fink of Lititz, Pennsylvania; Melissa A. Horton of Bel Air; Aimee N. Ebert of Edgewood; Nicholas R. Ebert of Joppa; Andrew A. Horton of Bel Air; and one great-grandchild, Ann S. Fink of Lititz, PA.
