Judy I. Henson

Judy I. Henson died at the age of 73 on August 17, 2016 at her home in Bel Air, MD. She was born in Honaker, VA to Russell R. Sykes and Nancy Katherine (Dye) Sykes and was the wife of the late Earl Henson. She loved to read and sewed at a boatyard and for her family where she made many items which included clothes, curtains and costumes.

Survivors include her son Earl Wayne Henson of White Marsh; her daughters Gina Cross of Chase, Robin Baldwin and Karen Frank both of Bel Air, and Judy Branzell of Perry Hall; nine grandchildren, Samantha Lochary, Derrick Cross, Alexander Baldwin, Nathanial Baldwin, Matthew Petre, Joseph Frank III, Lauren Frank, Brendan Frank and Emily Branzell; one great-grandson Brody Petre; four sisters Dorothy Stevens and Yvonne Wilson both of Honaker, VA, Janette Wright of White Marsh and Connie Sorace of Yardley, PA; and one brother Russell Sykes of Honaker, VA. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one sister, Lois Cox and three brothers, Curtis, Thurman and Virgil Sykes.
