Judy Kay Cook (Hildebrandt), age 78, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away on April 2, 2025, at her home in Chestertown, MD. Born in Turkey Creek, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mildred (Wallen) Cook.
Judy was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. She loved going to the movies, dining out, and playing family games—always finding joy in shared experiences. In her younger years, she had a passion for dancing and gardening, especially planting impatiens, which brought bursts of color to her home. Judy loved to decorate for every holiday. At Christmas, her home transformed into a holiday wonderland, making it feel as if the North Pole had come to life. Judy also loved animals and had many pets over the years. Her devoted dog, Peebles, was always in her lap.
She will be remembered for her laughter, warmth, love of family, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Leisa Hart, Melissa Bones (Dan), and Heather Carcione (Thomas); grandchildren, Kayla and Kyle Campasino, and Alexanderia Hudson; and great-granddaughters, Ava Campasino and Eleanor Hudson.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Hart, and her brother, Gary Cook.
