Judith Mary Preston

Judith Mary Preston, age 73, of Jarrettsville, MD, died on January 26, 2009 at Rock Spring Village in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Southborough, Kent, England, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Wilfred and Millicent Beryl Stapley Poile and wife, of 30 years, of the late Earl Eugene Preston Sr. She came to the United States answering a help wanted ad at Bedford Farm, a Fallston fox hunting farm, in the mid 1960's and became a U.S. Citizen in the 1990's. She was a former Hunt Club member and a member of Chrome Hill Ladies Club in Jarrettsville, MD. An avid flower gardener, she had a love of all animals, especially horses and Jack Russell's.

Mrs. Preston is survived by her son, Roy P. Preston and his wife, Cybil, of Jarrettsville, MD; sisters, Barbara Woodcock of Andover Hampshire, England and Susan Edwards of Ellesmere Shropshire, England.

Pallbearers will be Ian Ritzel, Eric Myers, Fred Ritzel, Donald Lang, Maxson Miller, and Jeremy Hellmann.
