Judith G. Hebert, age 72 of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Brightview Assisted Living under Hospice Care. She was born on February 19, 1944 at St. Clair, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas J. Birch and Elizabeth (Yuscyk) Birch. She was a graduate of St. Clair High School, Kutztown University, and West Chester University where she majored in English. She taught English at John Carroll High School in Bel Air for 26 years. She was teacher of the year for the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 1997 and retired in 2002. She was an avid reader, creative writer, painter, loved to play golf, and enjoyed traveling especially overseas and to Acadia National Park in Maine. She was a member of Fallston Presbyterian Church where she was an ordained elder, often taught Sunday school and was actively involved especially with youngsters.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas J. and Elizabeth Birch and a sister Sally Ann Farber. Surviving is her husband Raymond Hebert of 40 wonderful years of marriage and a son Thomas Vaughn of Las Vegas, Nevada.
