Age 85, of Street, Maryland, passed away on August 6, 2024, at Jacobs Well Assisted Living in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Messner) Powers and the beloved wife of the late Anton Fleischman.
Judith dedicated over 30 years of her life as a ceramic teacher, sharing her passion for art with countless students. She had a deep love for animals, caring for many throughout her lifetime, and her compassionate spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Michael Jonathan Fleischman; daughter-in-law, Barbara Fleischman; grandson, Michael Wayne Fleischman and wife Christine; and granddaughter, Krystal Fleischman.
Judith was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine A. Fleischman, and her sister, Janice Dodd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211.
