Judith C. Cantler, age 80, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on January 14, 2020 at Upper
Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Warfield, West Virginia, she was the
daughter of the late Theodore and Nancy Ferrell and wife of the late Paul Cantler Jr. She was a longtime member of Edgewood Assembly of God and enjoyed traveling with her late husband.
Judy was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She sacrificed
endlessly to make sure her family was always taken care of. For 35 years, she devoted her life
and career to caring for the elderly in her home. She was an angel sent from heaven to protect, love, and take care of anyone who crossed her path. She will be deeply missed.
Judith is survived by her sons, Timothy John (Kim) Cantler, Paul "Tony" (Joanne) Cantler and
Thomas Christopher (Patricia) Cantler; daughters, Sandra Carol (Paul) Whittington, Kathryn
Lynn Cantler (Matt Breeden) and Brenda Sue Kuhn; grandchildren, Charlotte, Zack, Caleb,
Steven, Kara, Jessica, Sara, Sam, Nancy, Julie, Andrew, Alex, Lily, Rosie and Violet, Matthew
and Daniel; great grandchildren, Olivia, Bella, Jayden, Cameron, Isaiah, Scarlett, Kennedy,
Penelope, Madelyn, Noah and Della; sisters, Iris Taylor, Gene Barberry and Esther Henry; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edgewood Assembly of God.
