JUAN “LOS” CARLOS ALFORD, age 34, of Edgewood, died at Harford Memorial Hospital on October 16, 2005. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Charles Edward Pitchford and Anna Louise Harris Moore of Edgewood. He worked as a systems analysist for the Aero Tek Company in Columbia. He was a basketball coach for the Parks and Recreation and president of Robot Music. He enjoyed helping children and music. He coached his children in various sports. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Alford is survived by his fiancée, Dominique M. Malone of Edgewood; five sons, Isaac C. Alford, Zachary D. Alford, Calvin A. Alford, Dalvin B. Alford, and Dominic Malone Alford, all of Edgewood; one daughter, Angelique P. Alford of Edgewood; one brother, John L. Alford, III of Belcamp; one sister, Angelique Pitchford of Hampton, Virginia; grandmother, Anna L. Harris of Abingdon; nieces, Alexandria Alford of Edgewood and Taylor Burke of Havre de Grace. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Lloyd “Bill” Harris.
