J.R. Ware

J.R. Ware, age 54, of Abingdon, MD passed away on August 8, 2018 at Gilchrist Hospice at GBMC in Towson, MD. Born in Clarksburg, WV, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a diesel mechanic. He loved his children and grandchildren, and also loved hunting and fishing. His family said he could fix anything and he was the strongest, hardest working man that they’d ever known. He was loved by all, and would do anything for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Mr. Ware is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cindy Ware; two daughters, Jessica (Travis) Brenneman and Jennifer (Jeremy) Abshire; son, Billy Hoffmann; grandchildren, Colsen, Peyton, Avery, Isabella, and Elijah; aunt, Sara Ware; two cousins, David (Barb) Ware, Scott (Lisa) Ware; and father in law, Jim Pennington. He was also survived by many other family members. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Keith Ware and mother in law, Joan Pennington.
