Joyce Urban Corso

Joyce Urban Corso, passed peacefully on January 11, 2010 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, after a courageous battle with cancer. A resident of Harford County for 36 years, she was born in Baltimore, MD on March 25, 1941 to the late Henry and Dorothy Helen Kress Williams. She was united in marriage to Charles Nunzio Urban and had four children. After the death of Charles, she was united in marriage to Franklin Delano Corso.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Shirley Helen Guyer and husband, Butch, of Chase, MD and Dawn Marie Davis and husband, Paul, of Bel Air, MD; sons, Steven Charles Urban and wife, Barbara, of Marriottsville, MD and Charles Vernon Urban and wife, Stella, of Abingdon, MD; and brother, Jack Peddicord of KS. She was a loving grandmother to Jennifer, Michael, William, Katie, Nina, and Chance.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by her brother, James Williams and her sister, Joan Pitt.

Pallbearers will be Steven Urban, Charles Urban, Phil Corso, Paul Davis, Butch Guyer, Michael Guyer, and Anthony Pente.
