Joyce Louise Lilly, age 80, of Street, Maryland passed away on May 25, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Warfield) Heline and wife of the late Edward John Lilly. Joyce worked as a lab technician in the Biology department at Johns Hopkins University for many decades. She was very proud to earn her JHU rocking Chair at the end of her career.
Joyce volunteered for over 25 years with the Harford County 4H, specifically the dog program. She went on to show competitively her Australian Shepherds Foley and Captain. She showed in breed, obedience, agility, rally, and tracking. She achieved multiple titles and shared her knowledge with many students in dog classes over the years. She was a wonderfully caring person, a great organizer, and was always finding ways to help others. She served as Elder and Deacon at Highland Presbyterian Church and helped organize the Harford County Homeless program. She loved her grandchildren and cherished any time she got to spend with them.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Lilly (Cory) Gray, Catherine Marie Baumgartner (William C. Kietzman) and Jennifer Louise Lilly; and grandchildren, Braylen Edward Gray and Tyler Samuel Gray.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Camden Gray, and brothers, Wayne Heline and Walter Heline.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of her Life at Highland Presbyterian Church, 701 Highland RD, Street, MD 21154, with an evening visitation on June 15, 3023 from 5:00-7:00 pm and a service on June 16, 2023 at 10:30 am.
