JOYCE JOHNSON BLEVINS, age 74, of Pylesville, formerly of Bel Air, died at her home on July 10, 2003, Born in Harford County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Pyle and Winifred Olivia Hawkins Johnson, and the wife of the late Ralph T. Blevins and the late Calvin Michael. She had retired in 1987 from her position as a public school teacher. She was a former member of the Cedar Gun Club.
Mrs. Blevins is survived by four step-daughters, Barbara Kisley of Lake Osewego, Oregon; JoAnn Bay of Darlington; Donna Sullivan of Jarrettsville; Tommie Lynn Russell of Darlington; one brother, Carl Johnson of Bel Air; seven step-grandchildren, Kelly Williamson of Lake Osewego, Oregon; Cari Sullivan; Megan Sullivan; Brooke Sullivan , all of Jarrettsville; Michelle Russell; Emily Russell, both of Darlington; Teresa Takac of Ovedo, Florida; and one niece, Lynne Wilkie of Ellicott City. Also survived by five great-nieces and nephews and six great-great-nieces and nephews.
