Joy Dignan

Joyce Dignan, age 95, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on November 24, 2022 at College Manor Assisted Living Center in Lutherville, Maryland. Born in Ayr, Scotland, she was the daughter of John and Mary McDougall and wife of the late Edward Dignan. Joyce was a licensed beautician and ran her own shop for many years. Joyce loved to travel and loved art – mostly ceramics and painting. She loved her family and will be remembered as a selfless woman who always thought of others.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Scott Edward Dignan and Andrew John Dignan; daughter, Joy Margaret Randall and husband Stan; grandsons, Allan Randall and wife Emily, Robert Randall and wife Mallory; granddaughter, Krista Letke and husband Adam; great-granddaughters, Paisley Randall, Isabella Randall, Savannah Randall, and Teddy Randall; and great-grandson, Charlie Randall.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers Tom McDougall and Fred McDougall, and sisters, Margaret Heayn and May Patterson.
