JOSEPH WILLIAM ALBRECHT, age 79, of Elkton, died in Mariner Health of Forest Hill on January 17, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Herman and Margaret Albrecht. Born and raised in Harford County, he moved to Montana after military service in the Army during WW II. He worked as a carpenter in Great Falls, Montana until 1980 when he moved back to Harford County and then continued his carpentry work for Baltimore City. He was a volunteer at Fallston General Hospital and for Meals on Wheels after his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father and step-father.
Mr. Albrecht is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bernadine P. Kohlerman Albrecht; one son, James B. Albrecht of Montana; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Onesi and her husband, Larry Onesi of Arnold, Pennsylvania; one step-son, Henry C. Twist, Sr. of Bel Air; two step-daughters, Bernadine Salembene and her husband, James Salembene of Ocean City, Maryland; Barbara Weisser and her husband, Erwin Weisser of Elkton; two sisters, Margaret Gardner of Essex; Helen Lorenz and her husband, Donnell Lorenz of Towson; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
