Joseph Walter Alston

Joseph Walter Alston, age 80, of Belcamp, MD passed away on February 7, 2017 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Walter Elexander and Hettie Elizabeth (Jones) Alston. He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a past member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. He enjoyed literature on automobiles, airplanes, naval ships and railroads. He also enjoyed traveling and was proud to have traveled to all 50 states.

Mr. Alston is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lillian L. Alston; his daughters, Yvonne Alston and her husband, Anthony Burton Wicks Jr., and Yvette Alston Gregoire all of Bel Air; and his grandchildren, Phillip M. Gregoire and David A. Wicks.
