Joseph S. Sweet Jr.

Joseph S. Sweet Jr., age 63, of Bel Air, MD, died on June 16, 2010 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Stephen Sweet Sr. and Rita Grabowski Sweet. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked, for 25 years, at Verizon International in Washington, DC where he was a telecommunications technician. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and motorcycling.

Mr. Sweet is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Carol Osborne Sweet of Bel Air, MD; son, Craig E. Sweet of Joppa, MD; daughter, Dr. Susan G. Coe, MD of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Richard T. Sweet of Hampstead, MD; sister, Pamela E. Neal of Venice Beach, FL; and two grandchildren, Carson and Garrett Coe of Jacksonville, FL.
