Joseph Richard Knott Sr.

Joseph "Richard" Knott Sr., age 67, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on August 9, 2011 at his home. Born in Oxford, NC, he was the son of the late Jesse Dolphis and Amy Elizabeth Drake Knott. Joe was the youngest of 7 siblings. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Joe was the owner of Harford Hydroseeding and CEO of Transcape, Inc. His passion was driving a truck.

Joe Knott is survived by his wife Faith Ida Knott of Bel Air, MD; sons, Joseph R. Knott II of Baltimore, MD, Brantley Murphy and wife Theresa of Castalia, NC, and Eddie Stickline and wife Lisa of Pylesville, MD; daughters, Joyce Zimmerman of Forest Hill, MD and Cindy A. Rose and husband Jamie of Knoxville, MD; brothers, Sidney Knott of Cary, NC and Alton Knott of Matheun, MA; sister, Emma Blake of Garner, NC; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special adopt family member Pam Harkins of Airville, PA; and many extended family members and friends.
