Joseph R. ''Sonny'' Porach Sr.

Joseph R. "Sonny" Porach Sr., age 80, of Joppa, MD, passed away on August 4, 2013 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Joseph Anthony Porach Jr. and Ethel V. Berger Porach.

Mr. Porach is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth M. (Skinner) Porach; son, Joseph R. Porach Jr. of Joppa; daughters, Debra Ann Westermeyer of Crestone, CO, formerly of Bel Air, and Ruth E. Donati and husband, Robert D., of Bel Air; brother, Kenneth Porach of Perry Hall; five grandchildren, Angela M., David A. and Joseph R. Donati, Rebecca L. and Kathryn N. Westermeyer; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Porach.
