Joseph M. Davis

JOSEPH M. DAVIS, age 60, of Forest Hill, died in Sinai Hospital, Baltimore on May 29, 2003. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Florence E. Fallin Cox of Warsaw, Virginia and the late Clarence Middleton Davis. He had worked as a lineman for 32 years for Verizon, formerly Bell Atlantic and C&P Telephone Company. He loved his grandson more than anything his family said. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. He served his country a total of 18 years with the U.S. Air Force and the Maryland Air National Guard.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 38 ½ years, Kathy A. Lauer Davis; one son, Jeffrey D. Davis and his wife Amy Davis of Bel Air; one grandson, Christopher E. Davis of Bel Air; brother-in-law, Carl Lowe; and sister-in-law, Linda Persing.
