Joseph Lee Taylor, Sr.

Joseph Lee Taylor Sr., age 71, of Darlington, MD, died on June 21, 2009 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington, Virginia. Born in Grayson County, VA, he was the son of the late Clarence William and Sarah Jane Hensley Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his children, Jeanne Foltz, Carroll Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Lee Anna Taylor, all of Darlington, MD, Daniel Taylor of Port Deposit, MD, and Joe Taylor and James Lee Taylor of Virginia; brothers and sisters, Dayton Taylor and Barbara Peters, both of Aberdeen, MD, William Taylor of Port Deposit, MD, and Ronald and David Taylor of Virginia; grandchildren, Tracey Findley and her husband, Skip, Daniel Foltz, Joshua Taylor, Brittany Conlisk, Sarah Wagman, Carlee Schiavi, Morgan Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Kayla Taylor, Samantha Taylor, and Isaiah Taylor; and great-granddaughter, Alexis Findley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Joe Taylor Jr.; brothers, J.C. Taylor, Howard Taylor and Donald Taylor; and sisters, Rose DeHart and Shirley Duran.
