Joseph ''Joe'' Edward Lowe Jr.

Joseph "Joe" Edward Lowe Jr., age 50, of Port Deposit, MD passed away on June 25, 2015. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he is the loving son of Joan Frances (Bishop) Lowe and the late Joseph Edward Lowe Sr., grandson of the late Charles and Garnet Lowe of Akron, Ohio and John "Jack" and Isabel (Porter) Bishop of Baltimore, Maryland.

Joe had a great love for turning wrenches, dirt bikes, four wheeling, NASCAR and especially the days racing his own Hot Rod Nova at the Cecil County Dragway (Hammer Down). He was always there for his family and friends. Big Man, Big Smile and Big Heart, he made friends wherever he went with his entertaining gift to tell stories.

In Joe's final years he was in unbearable, constant pain and he still gave us his beautiful smile through all of his suffering. He is on the wings of angels soaring high with his loved ones that have come to meet him and take him home. Until we are reunited Dear Son and Brother, we will carry you in our journey.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Lowe, Joe is survived by sisters, Terry Lowe of Scottsville, VA, Robin Lowe of Baltimore, Donna Lowe-Deaton of Baltimore and Debra Wallace of Crumpton, MD; nieces and nephews, Austin Morrow, Steven Morrow, who is also his godson, Vanessa Minter, Lisa Minter, Taylor Deaton and Amanda Deaton; great nephew and niece, Caden James and Isabella Morrow; uncle, James "Pat" Lowe and wife, Lou, of Akron, OH; aunt, Betty Polk of Bel Air; and uncle Jack Bishop and Katie Pepersack who holds a special place in his heart.
