Joseph ''Joe'' C. Coale

Joseph Charles Coale, age 75, of Darlington, MD, passed away on May 5, 2016, at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, FL, from cardiac arrest. Joseph was the son of the late H. Edward and Evelyn Dukehart Coale. Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years Joanne Ness Coale, his daughters Debra Raymond, Denay Coale-Hunter (John), and son, Charles "Buddy" Coale, 5 loving grandchildren, Marc Coale, Jordan and Jacob Raymond, Aubrey Coale, Danielle Hunter, and devoted niece Nichole Anderson. One of 11 children, Joe was predeceased by brothers Edward Dukehart, Robert, Michael, Frederick, and Harry (Jr.) and sister Elizabeth Waldron. He is survived by his brother Larry (Pat) and sisters Lucy Heckman (Bill), Sarah Hanlon, and Susan Souder (Ray).

Joe graduated from Bel Air High School and was an Army Reservist. Most of his life, he was a trucker with Coale Truck Transport and later with John Jones Trucking. This gentle giant was a "people person" who loved to talk and was always willing to "show you a trick" or "tell you a story." He will be sadly missed by all.

The pallbearers are his nephews Jim Tinsman, John Coale, David Coale, Lee Coale, Justin Coale, and Eddie Coale.
