Joseph J. Tyszko, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 88 on December 5, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was born in Baltimore to Paul Andrew and Mary (Kaczorowski) Tyszko and was the husband of the late Beatrice Elizabeth Tyszko. He served our country in the U.S. Army and worked for Martin Marietta where he made parts for the Apollo. He also worked as an electrician at Union Memorial Hospital from where he retired. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening, traveling and eating at Looneys which was his favorite restaurant. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Orioles and Ravens and was an artist and craftsman who liked to build furniture. A devout Catholic, he was currently attending St. Mark's Parish in Fallston.
Survivors include his children, Joyce A. Jones, Donna M. Delamar, Linda Darlene Napieralski, Beatrice Jo Smith and Karen Ann Eikenberg; 10 grandchildren, Cheryl Gibson, Dennis Jones, Debby Shiflett, Vicki Ryan, William Smith, Donna Cicone, Mariah Couture, Laura Pennington, Jason Eikenberg and Benjamin Eikenberg; and 13 great-grandchildren, Joy Gibson, Johnathan Gibson, Andrew Jones, Julie Jones, Joshua Smith, Christopher Smith, Matthew Smith, Sean Pennington, Tori Eikenberg, Travis Shiflett, Collin Shiflett, Saige Cicone an Chase Cicone. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sons, Bob and Robert, and his brother, Frank Tyszko.
