Joseph J. Ochs

Joseph J. Ochs, age 88, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 12, 2009 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, MD. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late John Charles and Helen Veil Ochs and husband of the late Dorothy T. Ochs. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII. A resident of Manhattan, NY, he worked 23 years for Bond Clothing in New York as supervisor of shipping. He also worked for the Archdiocese of New York as a security guard and he met many famous people in New York while working as a doorman for 7 years. An avid gardener, he enjoyed playing pool and building model ships.
