Joseph G. Bonney Jr.

JOSEPH G. BONNEY JR., age 75, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 19, 2008 at his home. Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph Gilbert Bonney Sr. and Elizabeth Theresa Rich Rush. A retired 20 year veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the V.F.W. and the Lions Club in Parkville, MD. He owned and operated, for 30 years, the Bowlers Pro Shop on Harford Road.

Mr. Bonney is survived by his wife of 21 years, Helen Lois "Boots" DiPietro Bonney of Bel Air, MD; two daughters, Linda Hoerr and husband, Mike, of Darlington, MD and Donna Volpe of Bel Air, MD; son, John F. DeBrouse of Bel Air, MD; brother, Robert Bonney of Delray, FL; sister, Elizabeth Ann Brown of Revere, MA; seven grandchildren, Tamara and April Bonney of Darlington, MD, Edward Coale of Conowingo, MD, Kasey, Kayla, and Robert Volpe of Bel Air, MD, and John F. DeBrouse Jr. of Bel Air, MD; and great-grandson, Jonathan Coale of Conowingo, MD.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hoerr, John DeBrouse, Robert Volpe, Edward Coale, Thomas Volpe, and Ronald Greeson.
