Joseph Ernest Gray

JOSEPH ERNEST GRAY, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, died on May 18, 2007 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation, Forest Hill, MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Ernest and Mae S. Stuard Gray. He worked for C&P Telephone Company as a mechanic. An Army veteran of WWII, he received a Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars and two Battle Stars. He was a member of the Bel Air American Legion and was a past Assistant Chief with the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, where he was a member since 1941.

Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Linda S. Gray, of Essex, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, the late Eleanor E. Clawson Gray and a sister, Marie E. Sheesley.
