JOSEPH B. LOVETT, JR., age 79, of Belcamp, MD, died on December 22, 2006, at Bel Air Health & Rehabilitation Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Benard Lovett, Sr., and the late Rosalie Elizabeth Woodland Lovett. He resided in Harford County for seven years. He was a Baltimore City Police Officer for 23 years, retiring in 1977. He then worked at Maryland National Bank as an auditor for over ten years. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Medical Technician. He was an active and dedicated member of the Shriners for 55 years, where he belonged to the Clown Unit, and was past president of various clubs. He also was a Past Master of Composite Lodge 212, a member of Tall Cedars-Parkville, and belonged to the York Rite.
Mr. Lovett is survived by his wife of 10 years, Ada Alberta Lovett (nee Blizzard) of Belcamp, MD; two step-sons, Mark White of Bel Air, MD, and Louis M. White of Perry Hall, MD; one sister, Margaret Cashour of Lancaster, PA; four grandchildren, Kenneth White and Danielle White, both of Bel Air, MD, and Gregory White and Joshua White, both of Perry Hall, MD; and three nephews, Charles Cashour of Baltimore, MD, and William Cashour and James Cashour, both of Lancaster, PA.
