Joseph B. Cox, Sr.

JOSEPH B. COX, SR., age 77, of Abingdon, MD, died at Gilchrist Center, Towson, MD on August 30, 2006. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Dunnigan Cox. He was an auto transport driver.

Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Marie Catherine Knoerlein Cox; four sons, Joseph B. Cox, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Stephens City, VA, Robert Cox and his wife, Roberta, of Parkville, MD, John Cox and his wife, Crystal, of Chase, MD, and William Cox and his wife, Terri, of Dundalk, MD; two daughters, Marian Stabb of Abingdon, MD and Elizabeth Cox of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Mary Brown of Killeen, TX and Rose Marie Piercy of Baltimore, MD; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
