Joseph Anthony Atchison

JOSEPH ANTHONY ATCHISON, age 68, of Abingdon, died at Harford Memorial Hospital on December 2, 2002. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Julius Ignatius and Mary Josephine McMullen Atchison. A resident of Harford County since 1977, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean and the Vietnam Conflict. He earned the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Medal, and a Bronze Star. He worked at APG from 1982-89 as a heavy mobile equipment technician.

Mr. Atchison is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Duhaime Atchison; one son, Kevin A. Atchison of Abingdon; two sisters, Eileen M. Smoot of Ocean City; Theresa Stephan Brown of Easton; and 10 nieces and nephews.
