Joseph A. Bucci

Joseph A. Bucci, age 75, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 21, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Luciano and Jennie Marie Bianca Bucci. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he enjoyed playing cards at the American Legion. A dedicated employee of Churchill Ltd., for 36 years, he was a life member of the social and charity group, LaDolce Vita.

Mr. Bucci is survived by his wife, Patricia "Trish" McDonagh Bucci of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Barbra Bucci-Murray and husband, Brian, of Durham, NC and Laura Bucci Upchurch and husband, Charles Kelly Upchurch III, of Durham, NC; stepson, Steven Brown and his wife, Lauren, of Abingdon, MD; brother, Rinaldo Bucci of Bel Air, MD; five grandchildren, Lucian and Jamie Murray and Jennifer, Ashley, and Scott Upchurch, all of Durham, NC. Also survived by Patricia's children, Lee Edward McClure of LaPlata, MD, Suzanne Marie Biafore of Ocean City, MD, Kevin Patrick McClure of Bel Alton, MD and their families; and Barbara Echols of Durham, NC mother of Barbara and Laura.
