John William Jones

John William Jones, age 79, of Joppa, MD passed away on July 1, 2017 at Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Williamsport, MD, he was the son of Rev. J.C. and Dorothy Marie (Chaney) Jones. He was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Jones (Robbins) whom he married on November 29, 1957. He is also survived by his children, Shirley (Jay) A. Cleveland of Glen Burnie and Leonard (Vanessa) J. Jones of Fayetteville, NC; granddaughter, Kristin N. Jones a student at Boston University; brothers, Milford (Shao Hui) R. Jones of Pleasanton, CA and Leonard R. Jones of Lewisberry, PA; and uncle and aunt, David and Sydney (Chaney) Appenzellar of Hagerstown.
