John Ronald Zook

John R. Zook of Bel Air died July 2, 2013 at home. He was 76. Born in Martinsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick R. Zook and Nancy Elizabeth (nee Miller) Zook. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel for 40 years and retired as the General Manager of Mobile Equipment in March 1999. John was a member and a deacon of Calvary Baptist Church in Bel Air. He enjoyed making people laugh and made friends everywhere he went. He was the best father ever.

Mr. Zook is survived by his girlfriend, Judy Ceiner, of Forest Hill; a son, Ted Garrison Zook and wife, Michele, of Monument, CO; a daughter, Jancy Rae Glisson and husband, Bruce, of Salisbury, MD; one brother, George Zook of Bel Air, MD; three sisters, Patricia Brown of Dayton, OH, Mary Onheiser of Baltimore, MD and Esther Besnoska of Edgewood, MD; 9 grandchildren, Timothy J. Glisson of Salisbury, MD, Kristy Pratt of Bel Air, MD, Jessica Hawkins of Jarrettsville, MD, Courtney Thompson of Abingdon, MD and Ted II, Lindsay, Kellie, Caleb and Brie Zook, all of Monument, CO; and 10 great-grandchildren Austin, Jocelyn and Alyvia Thompson, Andrew and Benjamin Pratt, all of Bel Air, MD and Caitlin, Madison, Charley and Isabelle Hawkins, all of Jarrettsville, MD, and Declan John of Monument, CO.

John is predeceased by his wife, Nancy Garrison Zook, brother, David Zook and grandson, Christopher Ryan Zook.
