John ''Ray'' Jones

JOHN “RAY” JONES, age 70, of Edgewood, MD, died on April 17, 2007, at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Taubman and Anna Elizabeth Carrigan Jones. He was a crane follower in the steel industry. He enjoyed antique cars, bowling, golfing, tennis, and hunting. He played cards, was a youth bowling coach, was a member of an antique car club, and attended Presbury United Methodist Church.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 51 years, Eleanor Kathleen Perkins Jones of Edgewood, MD; three daughters, Shirley A. Roberts of Edgewood, MD, Karen L. Hannah of Conowingo, MD, and Christina M. Suit of Winter Haven, FL; two brothers, Ken Jones of Baltimore, MD, and William “Billy” Jones of Abingdon, MD; four sisters, Mary E. Appler of Baltimore, MD, Pat A. Wizbicki of Baltimore, MD, Joan Jones of Baltimore, MD, and Rita Angileri of Naples, FL; and five grandchildren, John W. Roberts, Jr. of Edgewood, MD, Heather R. Beall of Edgewood, MD, Ashley N. Hannah of Conowingo, MD, Breanna M. Suit and Conner R. Suit, both of Winter Haven, FL.
