John R. Whaley

John R. Whaley, age 71, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 5, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Dover, DE, he was the son of the late John Theodore Whaley and Evelyn Virginia Hazel Robinson, and husband of the late Alma Louise Thach Whaley. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army Reserve, he worked as a Boiler Tender for the U.S. Government. An active member of the Model Train Club in Harford County and Chesapeake Model Train Club, he was a good mechanic and was a member of the Corvair Car Club of Maryland.

Mr. Whaley is survived by his sister-in-law, Claudia J. Cox of Brodheadsville, PA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
