Born on March 16, 1929, John Peter Stech of Bel Air died on August 10, 2005 due to heart failure while landscaping his yard. He always worked hard.

He served in the Army in Germany and Panama and was discharged a Sergeant. He retired from Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows Point. He worked all of his life and was quick to help everyone.
He was a loving and devoted husband of Joan W. Stech of Bel Air; loving and devoted father of daughter and son-in-law, Martha A. Vinyard and Gregory P. Vinyard, Sr. of Bel Air and son and daughter-in-law, John K. Stech and Carol A. Stech of Bel Air; loving brother of Kypron Stech and wife Mildred Stech of Baltimore; loving grandfather of Gregory P. Vinyard, Jr. of Whiteford, Jason Vinyard of Bel Air, Lori Vinyard of Bel Air and Melissa Lipka of Bel Air; loving great grandfather of Drew Vinyard of Whiteford, Madisyn Vinyard of Whiteford and Aspen Vinyard of Bel Air
