John P. Richards

On August 22, 2011, John Patrick Richards, beloved husband of Kathleen G. Richards; beloved father of Kathleen (Richards) Litinas, William J. Richards, Kevin P. Richards, and Patrick T. Richards; beloved father-in-law of Tim Litinas, Darlene Richards, and Deanna M. Richards; devoted brother of James Richards; loving grandfather of Joseph Smith, Tiffany Smith, Drew Litinas, Todd Litinas, Benjamin Richards, and Grace Richards; passed away at his home in Selbyville DE.

Mr. Richards was the third son (of four) of Bernard and Rose Richards, Irish immigrants who settled in New York. John raised his family in Bel Air, MD. He was a graduate of Fordham University, a proud serviceman in the Army, an accomplished sales executive specializing in the office furniture industry and a friend of many. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and sang with The Irish Chorale.
