John P. Carlton, 76, of Baldwin, MD, passed away on February 5, 2015 at his home. Born in Baldwin, he is the son of the late Paul C. and Eulah Watson Carlton. He was the owner of Carlton Painting. He served the Lord at Fellowship Chapel at Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church in many capacities. He was also involved with Grace Mission to Haiti. He loved music and had a beautiful voice.
Mr. Carlton is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Lee Minser Carlton; son, Stephen D. Carlton and wife, Ann, of Baldwin; daughters, Gale E. Carlton of Baldwin and Beth R. McBryde and husband, Stephen, of Lancaster, PA; brothers, Lee Carlton of Jarrettsville and Philip Carlton of Bel Air; grandchildren, Hunter McBryde, Shelby Criswell, Kelsey McBryde, Taylor McBryde, Christie Carlson, Michael Carlton, William Carlton and Sarah Carlton; many nieces and nephews; and two cherished cats, Betty and Mildred.
