John P. Baron

John P. Baron, age 77, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on May 20, 2020 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John George and Della (Merkavitch) Baron and husband of 54 years to Nancy A. (Morgan) Baron. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked at General Motors for 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Loyal of Order of Moose, a 4th degree Knights of Columbus and a Past Maryland State Commander of the Forty & Eight Veterans group and Past President of the Mid-Atlantic Association Veterans group. John loved music and in high school played with several local bands such as the Galaxies, Casuals and the Orientals. Later in life he played with Gene Vincent & the Cadillac Cruisers and played back-up with many Doo Wop entertainers when they came to Baltimore.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his son, Michael John Baron and his wife, Susan; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Michael and Christina Shin Baron.
