John O. Edwards Jr.

John O. Edwards Jr., age 70, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on October 26, 2011 at his home. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late John Owen Edwards Sr. and Nancy Ann Cissel Waldrop. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and loved U.S. History, gardening, woodcrafting, and animals. He was a great dad and loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Edwards of Abingdon, MD; sons, John O. Edwards III of Bel Air, MD and Robert S. Edwards of Ft. Lewis, WA; daughters, Patricia Stinnett of Forest Hill, MD and Theresa Phillips of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Laurel Krizek of FL and Nancy Fuller of SC; and eight grandchildren.
