John Nagle Meenan

John Nagle Meenan died at his home in Bel Air, MD on Thursday, December 9. Born on February 5, 1927, he was the son of Thomasine and James Abbott Meenan of Larchmont, NY. "Jack" attended Blessed Sacrament High School in New Rochelle, NY, before enlisting in the U.S. Navy during World War II. For 40 years, he was an employee of Royal Globe Insurance.

He was precdeded in death by his parents; brothers James Meenan, Jr. and Daniel Francis Xavier Meenan, SJ, and his son, Roger Meenan. He is survived by his wife, Ann Kilbride Meenan, his sister, Sheila Meenan Walters of Homosassa, FL and three of his children: Donna Meenan Adonaegui of New Rochelle; John Nagle Meenan, Jr. of Seattle, WA; Cynthia Meenan Tammam also of New Rochelle, NY. Three grandchildren, Juliana Meenan, Dean and Ray Tammam also survive him.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his honor to St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 141 Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014 or to Salesian Missions, 2 Le Fevre, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
