John "Rick" Lynn

John "Rick" Lynn, age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of the late Ralph and Margaret (Campbell) Lynn. He was the devoted husband of Mary Esther Lynn, to whom he was married for 66 years as of August 2, 2024.

Rick was the proud owner and operator of R&R Auto Parts in Essex, Maryland, for 30 years. His greatest joy in life was caring for his family and their homes. A man of many talents, he loved spending time outdoors, tending to his yard, and perfecting his landscaping. Rick was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles, and his love of 1950s music often led him to the dance floor. His happiest memories were made on family vacations to Disney and Cape May, where he cherished time spent with his loved ones.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Esther; his sons John Richard Lynn, Jr. (Cathy), Mark Lynn (Susan), and David Lynn (Julie); and his grandchildren Megan Norris (Matt), Stephen Lynn (Tiffany Chen), Natalie Lynn, Johnny Lynn, and Anna Lynn. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Nevaeh, Josiah, and Isaiah Norris. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Lynn.
