John Joseph Bernacki

John Joseph Bernacki, age 70, of Abingdon, Maryland, formerly of Parkville, passed away on January 5, 2018 at his home. Born in Haren Ems, Germany, he was the son of Michael and Stefania (Stankewicz) Bernacki. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed going to flea markets and getting a good deal.

Mr. Bernacki is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra L. Bernacki; son, Brian M. Bernacki and his wife, Karen of York, PA; daughter, Jennifer M. Smith of Abingdon; brother, Anthony Bernacki of Jarrettsville; and four grandchildren, Andrew Bernacki, Alexander Bernacki, Joshua Bernacki, and Elisabeth Bernacki.
