John Jacob Nussle Iii

John Jacob Nussle III, 80, of Joppa, MD passed away on October 25, 2015 at Madonna Heritage in Jarrettsville, MD where he received excellent care. Born in Joppa, he was the son of the late John Jacob Nussle Jr. and Estelle Jane (Campbell) Nussle. He was a 1953 graduate of Bel Air High School and was involved in the Boy Scouts where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was an Explorer. He worked as a Journeyman Machinist at General Engineering which later became Grumman Aerospace where he was a Supervisor until his retirement in 1991. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed goose hunting. He also enjoyed auctions, especially Crumpton Auctions on the Eastern Shore. He set the bar high for the family and grandchildren and enjoyed family reunions and eating crabs on the weekends.

Mr. Nussle is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian "Betty" E. Nussle; son, John Jacob Nussle IV and his wife, Jean, of Joppa; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Cole and her husband, Raymond, of Joppa; grandchildren, Tara, Jake, Mandy, Jessica, Kaci, Samantha and Jacob; and five great-grandchildren, Lexi, Stephen, Maclain, Duke and Weston. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, John Jacob Nussle V; and great-grandson, Jacob Kane Kuzma.

Pallbearers will be John Jacob IV, Jake Kuzma, Ray Cole, Gary Hannah, Bob Weaver and Dave Yeager. Honorary pallbearer will be Willie Horton.
