John "Jack" T. Brosseau Sr., age 74, of Forest Hill, MD, died on April 9, 2009 at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Harvey Leon and Gertrude Marie Boisvert Brosseau. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Air Force, he was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. A past president of the Spenceola III Community Association, he was active in photography, as well as, the Boy Scouts at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. He was the owner and operator of the Seaside Galley Restaurant in Ocean City, MD. Prior to that he had owned and operated the Hess Country Store in Monkton for 5 years and the 7-11 convenience store on Baltimore Pike for 4 years.
Mr. Brosseau is survived by his wife of 45 years, M. Jane Brosseau of Forest Hill, MD; daughter, Cheryl Brosseau Shipley and husband, Douglas J., of Belcamp, MD; daughter-in-law, Darcy L. Brosseau of Peru, NY; two grandchildren, Emily Jane Brosseau of Peru, NY and Taylor M. Shipley of Belcamp, MD; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, John T. Brosseau Jr.
Pallbearers were Douglas Shipley, Richard Barto, Andrew Barto, Charles Brosseau, Robert Kopecki, and Brian Brosseau.
