John Gentner

On Sunday, January 27, 2013, John Gentner lost his courageous, albeit brief, battle with cancer. John leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Amy Gentner and his beloved granddaughters, Breanna (Miss B) and Kayley (Miss K) Gentner.

A graduate of Saint Agnes Elementary School, Catonsville, MD; Notre Dame High School, Batavia, NY; and Loyola College, MD, John was born to Charles and Anne Gentner. The fourth of ten siblings, John was predeceased by his sister, Janice Marie. John will continue to be loved and sorely missed by his eight remaining siblings and their spouses: Tom and Betty Gentner; Peggi and Caesar Kyger; Mary Ann and Jim Birch; Anne August (Marc deceased); Barbara and Joe Preis; Chas Gentner; Dolores and Steve Martin; Gus and Pam Gentner and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved spending time with his family and granddaughters.
