John G. Hubble

John G. Hubble, age 90, of Bel Air, MD, died on November 8, 2010 at home in Bel Air, MD. Born in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late John George Hubble Sr. and Lenora Blankenship Hubble. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he had managed the Hub Clothing Store in Bel Air, MD, where he retired after 30 years, and had recently worked for Courtland Hardware. He had been a town commissioner and was instrumental in starting the 4th of July parades.

Mr. Hubble is survived by his wife, Edith P. Hubble of Bel Air, MD; son, Dr. Mark A. Hubble of Danbury, CT; daughter, Pamela L. Maynard of Middleburg, VA; brother, Harold L. Hubble of Bel Air, MD; sister, Mary V. Reedy of Bel Air, MD; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
