John Frisch

John Frisch, age 87, of Joppa, MD, passed away on February 2, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Phoenix, MD, he was the son of the late John C. Frisch Sr. and Martha F. (Sims) Frisch.

Mr. Frisch was a retired plumber and lifetime member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local 486. He was a proud veteran having served his country during WWII as member of the United States Army Air Corps. He became a POW after his bomber was shot down over Northern Italy. Mr. Frisch was also a lifetime member of the 57th Bomb Wing Association.

Mr. Frisch is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Frisch and wife, JoDee, of Las Vegas, NV and Robert L. Frisch and wife, Carla, of Joppa; brother, Leslie Frisch of Berlin, MD; sister, Joyce Kleiderlein of Bel Air MD; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Frisch is predeceased by sisters Bertha Ford, Doris Hawman and brother Robert Frisch.

Mr. Frisch will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
