John Francis Suprock

John Francis Suprock of Bel Air, MD passed away at the age of seventy on Friday, November 10, 2017. Born in Pottsville, PA on Veterans Day to John and Elizabeth (Zelusky) Suprock, he served in the United States Air Force for four years as a Bioenvironmental Engineering Specialist, honorably discharging with the rank of Sergeant. As a civilian, John continued serving his country as an Entomologist and analyzing soil and water samples for the Department of the Army for over thirty years. While employed, he helped to make his laboratory the number one of its kind in the country.

John also served his family as a loving husband and devoted father. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Joan, his son John Suprock and wife Erene, his daughter Rebecca Gilman and husband Robert, and his granddaughter, Heidi Gilman. Aside from being a great father, John enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to oldies music, classic rock and reading the Bible.
