John Emmett Adelsberger

May 17, 1940 — February 15, 2005

JOHN EMMETT ADELSBERGER, age 64, of Forest Hill, died at his residence on February 15, 2005. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John Lloyd and Helen Augusta Urspruch Adelsberger. He had retired after 40 years of service as a sales manager in the steel industry, the last few years he had worked for Legends. A graduate of Loyola High School and the University of Baltimore, he was the chairman of the Forest Hill Horseshoe League for 20 years. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn. He was an avid hat collector.

Mr. Adelsberger is survived by his wife, Linda M. LeBrun Adelsberger; two sons, Michael L. Adelsberger of Bel Air; David M. Adelsberger of Glen Burnie; two daughters, Lisa A. Hannon of Pylesville; Karen J. Childs of Powellville, MD; one sister, Jean Helm of Springfield, Pennsylvania; one grandchild, Kelly Hannon of Pylesville; and one great-grandchild, Mia Phillips.
