John Elmer Murgatroyd Iii

John Elmer Murgatroyd, 3rd, age 55, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 5, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Mary Jane Price Murgatroyd and the late John Elmer Murgatroyd Jr. He was raised in Fallston, Maryland and was a life-long resident of Harford County. A 1972 graduate of Bel Air High School, he worked for Alban Tractor for 23 years, and had owned and operated his own tractor trailer for seven years. An avid hot rod fan his passion was his 1973 Dodge Dart "Fortunate One". He enjoyed going to car cruises, Ocean City Cruises and racing at Cecil County Dragway. He was a fan of the Ravens.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Rhonna J. Hollar Murgartroyd of Bel Air, MD; and daughter, Lisa Marie Murgatroyd of Bel Air, MD.

Pallbearers will be George Donhauser, Ronald Pickle, Dick Tracy, Douglas Hinkle, Dennis Hube, and Craig Hollar.
